On Sunday 29 May, zaLUG had its inaugural meeting in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was a beautiful day and the attendee total exceeded our wildest dreams.

The day started with Joe welcoming everyone and giving LUG feedback, updates and statistics. Iain and Clark introduced themselves and give some insights into our social responsibility plans. That was followed by a very interactive introduction to LDD (LEGO®Digital Designer) by Paul Doran. We ended the day with a “Build-in-the-Bag” fun competition and chatting everything LEGO® around the braais.
