Building Community at St Catherine’s Convent

This past weekend, we had the privilege of exhibiting as guests of St Catherine’s Convent during their Open Day. St Catherine’s has been incredibly supportive of our LEGO User Group, generously allowing us to use their facilities for our weekend LEGO meetups. When they invited us to be part of their Open Day, we were delighted to return the favour by sharing some of our creations with their community.

The exhibition was a one-day event, but it was packed with excitement. Visitors of all ages stopped by to admire our LEGO builds, ask questions, and share their own LEGO memories. For many, it was their first time seeing large-scale fan creations up close — and it was wonderful to watch their eyes light up with inspiration.

We’re grateful to St Catherine’s not only for the space they provide but also for giving us the opportunity to be part of their school community for the day. The partnership between our group and St Catherine’s is a reminder of how LEGO can build more than just models — it can build friendships and connections that last.
