This past weekend, zaLUG had the incredible opportunity to showcase our creations at the annual Medieval Fayre at Greensleeves, west of Johannesburg. It was a day filled with creativity, community, and a touch of nostalgia as our intricate LEGO displays transported visitors back to the enchanting world of knights, castles, and mythical creatures.

Our exhibit featured a variety of medieval-themed builds, each one meticulously crafted by our talented members. Highlights included a bustling medieval marketplace with tiny villagers going about their daily lives, and an epic battle scene with knights in shining armor..

Visitors of all ages were captivated by the detail and creativity on display. It was especially heartwarming to see children’s faces light up as they recognized familiar scenes, easter eggs and characters brought to life in LEGO form.

The Medieval Fayre provided a perfect backdrop for our display, and we were thrilled to be a part of such a vibrant and engaging event. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow LEGO enthusiasts, share our passion for building, and inspire the next generation of creators.
